Radio and Television News Directors Foundation, Inc.--Scholarships

Undergraduate and Graduate Scholarships:
Scholarships which include and expense-paid trip to Radio-Television News
Directors Association Annual International Conference are available to
graduate and undergraduate students in the field of electronic journalism.
Candidates may only apply in one scholarship category.

RTNDA President's Award for Television News Management:
One $2,000 award is offered for one year to a fully-enrolled undergraduate
or graduate student whose career objective is television news management.

Abe Schecter Graduate Scholarship:
One scholarship of $1,000 is available for one year to any continuing or
incoming full-time graduate student whose career objective is electronic
news or electronic journalism.

Len Allen Award of Merit:
One $2,000 award of merit is available for one year to an undergraduate
or graduate student enrolled in an electronic journalism sequence and
whose career objective is radio news management.

Carole Simpson Scholarship:
One $2,000 scholarship is available for one year to an undergraduate or
graduate student enrolled in an electronic journalism sequence at an 
accredited or nationally recognized college or university. Preference will
be given to a minority undergraduate.
