Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting: Fellowships are awarded for
    individual efforts. Collaborative work is not eligible.
    
Eligibility: No applicant may have earned money or other consideration 
   as a screenwriter for theatrical films or television, or for the 
   sale of, or sale of an option to, any original story, treatment, 
   screenplay or teleplay for more than $5,000. 

Period: 1 year

Amount: $25,000 (payable in five installments over a one-year period). 

Deadline: May 1 (annually). Applicants must submit one copy of an 
    original screenplay (approximately l00-130 pages in length and
    written in standard screenplay format), a completed application,
    and a non-refundable fee of $30.00. The fellowship may not be 
    used to begin, continue, or complete any educational course of
    study.
