National Medical Fellowships, Inc.--Medical Scholarships for Minorities

Scholarships are made on the basis of financial need to first and
second year medical students who are from groups currently 
underrepresented in the medical profession: African Americans,
Mexican-Americans, Native Americans, and mainland Puerto Ricans.

Eligibility: Applicants must be U.S. citizens, be enrolled in 
    accredited M.D. or D.O. degree granting programs in the U.S.
    and must demonstrate financial need.

Award: Awards can range from $500 to $7,000.
