International Foundation of Employee Benefits Plans--Grants for Research Grants are awarded to graduate students, postgraduate students and professional researchers to conduct original research on employee benefit topics. These include health care benefits, retirement and income security, and other aspects of employee benefits systems. Eligibility: Applicants must be citizens of the U.S. or Canada. Those seeking graduate grants must 1) be pursuing a graduate or postgraduate degree from an accredited college or university; and 2) have thesis or dissertation approved by an adviser. Those seeking postdoctoral grants must 1) hold a terminal degree from an accredited institution; and 2) be employed by a nonprofit educational or research institution. Award: A maximum of $5,000 for graduate grants and $10,000 for postdoctoral grants.
