IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center-- Postdoctoral Fellowship 

A fellowship is available to scientists for research in mathematical
and computer sciences as resident department members at the Research
Center. The program is organized for research in pure and applied 
mathematics, and in theoretical and exploratory computer science.

Eligibility: The candidate must have a doctorate and no more than five
     years of postdoctoral professional experience. 

Period: The duration of the fellowship is one year and may be extended
     for an additional year. 

Stipend: The stipend will be $70,000 per year, plus an allowance for
     moving expenses.

Deadline: January 9, 1998
