Harkness Fellowships of the Commonwealth Fund of New York
     
Fellowships: for students from Australia, New Zealand and the UK
     to study and travel in the United States. 

Eligibility: This grant is not open to anyone already studying in 
     the United States. Age limit of citizens of Australia and New 
     Zealand is 21-35 years. Age limit for British citizens is not
     strictly held, but usually successful candidates are between
     their late 20s and early 40s. Work leading to higher
     degrees, especially doctorates, will not be encouraged. 

Stipend: Australian and New Zealand Fellowships include
     round-trip airfare for Fellow and spouse and up to two
     children under the age of 18. Modest living allowance,
     family allowance, tuition and other approved fees, medical
     insurance, and an allowance for travel in the US.
