The Collegiate Inventors Competition Formerly the BFGoodrich Collegiate Inventors Program (CIP), the BFG-CIP is a prestigious national competition which recognizes college and university students and faculty across the country whose innovations, discoveries and research are deemed the year's most outstanding. The invention, idea or process submitted must be original, and the result of work completed by a student - or team - with his or her faculty advisor. Eligibility: FULL-TIME university students within the U.S. are eligible to participate. Award: $20,000 awards for the best college student inventors, $10,000 awards for their advisors and up to six prizes will be awarded to student/advisor teams.
