Grants: for journalists doing investigative work that covers a broad spectrum including environmental hazards, political corruption, government malfeasance, corporate illegalities, civil and human rights abuses and societal ills, as well as media criticism. Eligibility: Journalists need a statement of intent to publish. They must also provide an outline which states what they expect to prove as well as sources for the proof, budget, resume, and clips. Deadline: Applications are accepted throughout the year, but the Board meets in July and December.
