Fulbright Postdoctoral Program in Israel The United States-Israel Educational Foundation (USIEF) offers Fulbright awards to postdoctoral scholars at Israeli institutions of higher learning. Applications in all disciplines are accepted. Eligibility: Preference is given to scholars who have not previously studied or done research in Israel and to those who have completed their doctorate within two years prior to application. Period: Awards are for ten months, renewable up to twenty-one months. Stipend: Awards in 1997 ranged from $20,500 to $72,050, depending on length of stay and number of dependents. The awards include additional round-trip ticket to the United States.
