Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad   

The Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad Fellowship Program 
provides opportunities for graduate students to engage in 
full-time dissertation research overseas in modern foreign 
languages and area studies.

Eligibility: ABD doctoral candidates who plan to teach in US
     educational institutions at the post-secondary level. Awards
     are not made for projects focusing on Western Europe and
     will not be made for research in countries where the US has
     no diplomatic representation.

Duration: For a period of six to twelve months. 

Award: The amount of award will vary depending on research and
     country.
