Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowships 

Fellowships: For full-time graduate study at NYU in area studies and
     modern languages, including Arabic, Persian, Turkish, Hebrew,
     Portuguese, Advanced Spanish, French, Italian, Irish, Finnish,
     Modern Greek, Dutch, Swedish or German. Training is in preparation
     for a career in higher education or a field which will make use 
     of the language studied. 

Eligibility: Applicants must be full-time students and U.S. citizens or
	permanent residents. 

Amount: full tuition, fees, and a stipend.
