Folger Shakespeare Library Residential Fellowships

The Folger concentrates on English drama and theatre, non-dramatic
literature and history from the Renaissance through the 18th century. 

Short-Term Fellowships: Fellowships for periods of one to three
   months are available to postdoctoral and college or university
   faculty with equivalent experience from any country. Awards 
   carry a stipend of $1,700 per month. Application deadline is 
   March 1st.

National Endowment for the Humanities Fellowships and Folger 
Long-Term Fellowships: Fellowships are available for periods of
   research from six to nine months. Applicants should be
   advanced scholars who have made substantial contributions to
   their fields and whose research projects are appropriate to 
   the collections of the Folger Shakespeare Library. Long-Term
   Fellowships are open to scholars from any country. The NEH
   Fellowships carry a stipend of up to $30,000 and the Folger
   fellowships carry a stipend of $1,700 per month. The 
   application deadline is November 1st.
