Epilepsy Foundation of America 1. Research Training Fellowships: The purpose of this fellowship is to develop academic physicians and scientists committed to research related to epilepsy. For advancing the understanding, treatment, and prevention of epilepsy. Eligibility: Physicians or Ph.D. neuroscientists who desire post- doctoral research experience. Period: One or two year training Stipend: The Fellowships carry a stipend of up to $40,000 per year. Deadline: The original application and 25 copies must be received by September 4, 1998 2. Health Sciences Student Fellowships: The purpose is to stimulate individuals to pursue careers in epilepsy in either research or practice. Eligibility: Students may propose a three-month epilepsy project to be undertaken in either a clinical or laboratory setting where there are ongoing programs of research in the field of epilepsy.
