Epilepsy Foundation of America-Junior Investigator Research Grant Program The purpose of the Research Grants Program is to stimulate epilepsy research by providing funding for investigators in the early stages of their careers. Seed grants are awarded to clinical investigators or basic scientists for support of biological or behavioral research which will advance the understanding, treatment, and prevention of epilepsy. Eligibility: Priority is given to beginning investigators just entering the field of epilepsy research, to new or innovative projects, and to investigators whose research is relevant to developmental pediatric aspects of epilepsy. Applications from established investigators (Associate Professor level or above) are INELIGIBLE! Stipend: Up to $40,000 per year. Research grants are renewable for a second year on a competitive basis. Deadline: An original and 25 copies of all components of the application are due by September 4, 1998.
