Educational Testing Service--1998-1999 Center for Performance Assessment 1999-2000 Center for Performance Assessment Postdoctoral Fellowship Award A scholar will be selected to conduct independent research with access to ETS staff at the Center for Performance Assessment in Princeton, New Jersey. Independent research will be conducted for ongoing projects that examine the design of performance assessments; the effective and equitable use of these assessments; inferential issues related to performance assessment; and the implications of performance assessment for teaching, learning, and school reform. The program's objective is to provide opportunities to individuals who hold a doctorate in relevant fields and to increase the number of women and minority professionals with expertise in performance/portfolio assessment in relation to the improvement of learning and teaching. Eligibility: Applicants should hold a doctorate degree in a related discipline and provide evidence of scholarship. Period: Twelve months. Award: $35,000 for the twelve month period. Limited relocation expenses, consistent with ETS guidelines, will be reimbursed upon presentation of receipts. How to apply: There is no formal application.
