E.M. Dirksen Congressional Leadership Research Center--Research Awards Congressional Research Awards Program: The competition is open to anyone with a serious research interest in Congress, although applicants are usually political scientists, historians, biographies, scholars of public administration or American studies, or journalists. Eligibility: Graduate students may apply. Grants usually extend for one year. Stipend: Grants ranging in size from a few hundred dollars to $3,500 are available to support research on the U.S. Congress and particularly on congressional leadership. Deadline: April 30, 2000.
