Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum-Mark Kaminski Summer Internships The Mark Kaminski Internship in a field related to architecture was established to encourage young students of architectural history, design, and design criticism to explore careers in the museum profession through work in the Museum's extensive holdings of architectural drawings, archives and related collections. The Internships honors the memory of New York architect Mark Kaminski. Eligibility: College undergraduates and graduate students who have not completed their MA degree. Applicants must be considering a career in architectural history, design and criticism, museum studies, or museum education. Amount: A stipend of $2,500 over a period of 10 weeks. Housing is not provided. Deadline: Each candidate must submit the following materials postmarked by March 31st: Resume, college transcript, two letters of recommendation with at least one letter from a recent or current instructor and a 1-2 page essay describing career goals and specific areas of interest relating to the internship.
