Center for the Education of Women--Visiting Scholar Program The Center for the Education of Women is offering residencies to scholars and practitioners for them to pursue research, writing, and publication interests and opportunities for collegial interaction. Applicants interests should lie in the following general areas: women and leadership; women and leadership; women in science, mathematics and engineering; women, education and public policy (local, state, federal); women in academia; and women in careers. Eligibility: Applicants should hold an earned Ph.D., Ed.D., J.D. or have equivalent experience in a relevant field. Period: One to twelve months. Awards: CEW will provide: office space, access to facilities and programs, modest stipends and/or research support funds. Deadline: There are two deadlines: March 31, 2000 for the Fall term and July 1, 2000 for the Winter term.
