American Foundation for the Blind - Karen D. Carsel Memorial Scholarship

Karen Carsel Memorial Scholarship: for a full-time graduate student who
     is legally blind.

Eligibility: Must be US citizen. Must provide evidence of legal blindness
     and evidence of economic need. Must be accepted into a full-time 
     graduate program.

Amount: $500.

Application materials: Evidence of blindness, official transcript(s),
    proof of acceptance in a full-time graduate program, evidence of
    economic need, three letters of recommendation, and a typewritten 
    statemdent of no more than three double-spaced pages describing
    educational and personal goals, work experience, extra-curricular
    activities, and how scholarship monies will be used.

Deadline: Applications with supporting materials must be submitted
    in print and be postmarked by April 30 (annually).
