Canadian Library Association Scholarship Scholarships Offered: 1) Howard V. Phalin World Book Graduate Scholarship for studying library science in either Canada or the US. Award is given for the duration of one academic year. (i.e. two semesters or three quarters). A maximum stipend of $2500 is available. 2) H.W. Wilson Scholarship for students entering an accredited library school. Candidates must be commencing studies for their first professional library degree. Award is given for one year with a maximum stipend of $2000. 3) CLA DaFoe Scholarship for candidates pursuing their first professional library degree. Award is given for one year with a maximum award of $1,750. Eligibility for all scholarships: Candidates must be Canadian citizens or landed immigrants.
