American Society for Microbiology--Minority Graduate Fellowship Program For graduate students who are enrolled in a full-time Ph.D. program in microbiology who are members of an underrepresented minority group in the sciences (including African Americans, Mexican Americans, Native Americans, Puerto Ricans, Alaskan Native American or Native Pacific Islander). Eligibility: Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent visa residents, student members of ASM and have completed the first year as a doctoral candidate. Stipend: The total stipend is for three years at $15,000 per year and can not be used for tuition or fees.
