American Psychological Association   

Fellowship program: designed to enhance minority participation in
     psychology by increasing the supply of trained psychologists
     with doctorates in the area of racial and ethnic minority
     issues.

Eligibility: Must be US citizen or permanent resident. Candidates 
     must express a commitment to research and involvement in 
     minority issues in mental health and behavioral sciences. 
     Applications are not limited to individuals who belong to 
     minority groups. Potential for success in graduate study and 
     financial need are considered.   

Stipend: allowance for books, materials, thesis, and dissertation
supplies; a stipend and tuition
