American Mothers Inc. - formerly Gertrude Fogelson Scholarship

American Mothers Cultural and Creative Arts Program: for women who
are mothers and involved in the field of arts and crafts.

Eligibility: Applicant must be a mother and a US citizen or permanent
     resident. Given to one woman from each state. Entrants must be
     the winner of the State Art Competition. Each state may submit
     its First Place Winner in each of six categories. Applicant
     must be a member of American Mothers, Inc., or join upon
     entering.

Prize: $1,000 for a piece of sculpture. 
       $1,000 for a painting.
       $500 for crafts (Needlework, Weaving, Ceramics, Jewelry, 
	Wood Carving, other).
       American Mothers Watch for photography.
       American Mothers Watch for graphics.
       American Mothers Watch for other forms of art (Pen, Pencil, 
 	(Charcoal, Prints, Etching, Woodcuts, etc.).
