American Jewish Archives--Doctoral and Postdoctoral Fellowships The Marguerite R. Jacobs Memorial Post-Doctoral Award in American Jewish Studies: is available for post-doctoral candidates for for one month of active research or writing at the American Jewish Archives. The Lowenstein-Wiener Fellowship Awards in American Jewish Studies: are available to ABD (all but the dissertation requirements completed) or post-doctoral candidates for one month of research or writing at the American Jewish Archives. The Bernard and Audre Rapoport Fellowships in American Jewish Studies: are available for post-doctoral candidates for research or writing at the American Jewish Archives for a one month period. The Rabbi Frederic A. Doppelt Memorial Fellowship in American Jewish Studies: is available to ABD's for one month of research or writing at the American Jewish Archives. Preference will be given to candidates from Eastern Europe or those working on a topic related to Eastern Europe Jewry in the American context. The Ethel Marcus Memorial Fellowship in American Jewish Studies: is available to ABD's for one month of research or writing at the American Jewish Archives. The Rabbi Levi A. Olan Memorial Fellowship in American Jewish Studies: is available to ABD's for one month of research or writing at the American Jewish Archives during the academic year. The Rabbi Marc H. Tanenbaum Foundation Fellowships or Research in Interreligious Affairs: are available to ABD (all but the dissertation requirements completed) or post-doctoral candidates for one month of research or writing at the American Jewish Archives during the stipend year. All research proposals for these fellowships must be in the field of interreligious affairs. The Starkoff Fellowship in American Jewish Studies: is available to ABD's for one month of research or writing at the American Jewish Archives. Stipend: Stipends cover transportation and living expenses while in residence at Cincinnati. Applications materials: Applicants must provide an up-to-date curriculum vitae, a research proposal, evidence of published research, where possible. ABD's must provide two faculty recommendations (including dissertation supervisors' for dissertation candidates) and post-doctoral candidates must provide two recommendations from academic colleagues.
