American Council of Learned Societies - Graduate Student Fellowships

US universities may nominate one of their first-year graduate 
students from the People's Republic of China in any discipline 
of the humanities and social sciences to compete for a two-year
fellowship for continued work toward the degree.

Period: Tenure is for two years, 2001-2002 and 2002-2003.

Award: A stipend to support living expenses.

Deadline: November 15, 2000
