American Defense Institute Fellowship Program: The American Defense Institute is a non-partisan, educational organization dedicated to the study, analysis and dissemination of research in national security and foreign policy issues. Selected applicants will spend one year in Washington beginning September 1 to pursue independent research, to interact with high level national security policy makers and to work directly in policy agencies and on Capitol Hill. Eligibility: applicants must be at the MA or PhD level nearing degree completion in economics, history, law, or politics. Candidates should have a record of outstanding academic achievement and specific research designs for which support is desired. US citizenship required.
