American Association of University Women--Summer Faculty Fellowships Summer Faculty Fellowships for postdoctoral/research leave are for women faculty at colleges and universities who are excellent teachers and whose teaching load limit active research. Time must be available for eight weeks of summer research. Scholars with strong publishing records should seek other funding or apply for the one-year post- doctoral/research leave fellowships. Six Summer Fellowships are available in 1999-2000. Eligibility: Must be US citizen or permanent resident. There are no restrictions on place, field of the project or age of the applicant. Applicants are evaluated on their scholarly excellence, teaching experience, and active commitment to helping women and girls through service in the community, profession, or field of research. Stipend: The stipend is $5,250. Deadline: Application postmark deadline is November 15, 1998.
