American Historical Association--Fellowships and Research Grants The American Historical Association provides a number of awards to support historical research. J. Franklin Jameson Fellowship: A fellowship is available to young historians to support significant scholarly research in the collections of the Library of Congress. The stipend is $10,000. Deadline: January 15, 2000. NASA Fellowships: This annual fellowship provides applicants of unusual ability the opportunity to engage in significant and sustained advanced research in NASA aerospace science, technology, management or policy. The postdoctoral fellowship carries a stipend of $30,000 and the predoctoral caries a stipend of $21,000. Deadline: February 1, 2000.
