American Chemical Society--Awards The American Chemical Society will make over 50 different awards to recognize individual accomplishments in diverse fields of the chemical sciences. Different nomination and selection procedures are employed for each award Eligibility: Awards are made in organic chemistry, materials chemistry, analytical chemistry, industrial chemistry, inorganic chemistry, nuclear chemistry, and theoretical chemistry, as well as other specialized areas. There are also awards for encouraging disadvantaged students and women to consider careers in the chemical sciences and an award for research at an undergraduate institution.
