The De Luxe skincare line embodies the "richness" that Shinzo Fukuhara so desired in Shiseido products and packaging. Still in production today, De Luxe was a more expensive version of an earlier line called Ginza. The French titles—including Eau de Blanc, a liquid face powder, in contrast to the Greek-inspired Eudermine, known as Shiseido’s "red water—testify to the strong allure of Parisian cosmetics. The silver packaging is replete with the now familiar kurakusa, or arabesque.
