Arpita Singh (born 1937) is part of a distinguished group of women painters in India who have become leaders in articulating personalized visions with a subtle sense of humor. Trained in India, Singh lives in New Delhi and has exhibited extensively throughout India. Recently her work has also been shown in Thailand, Japan, and England.
