INTERNSHIP (2-4 credits)

Students must find sponsors for their proposed internships, e.g. through NYU's Career Services. To receive credits, internships must maintain a non-paying status. A double-spaced term paper must be handed in at the end of the internship. The content should describe job responsibilities, while elaborating them in relation to your academic and career objectives. Additionally, a letter evaluating your performance will be requested at the end of each semester.

The student must submit the following for approval by the Director of Undergraduate Studies:

  1. An official letter from an employer/supervisor which details the following:

      1. Non-pay internship status
      2. Hours per week
      3. Job responsibilities

  2. A proposal describing your internship objectives in relation to your academic and career objectives, along with the particular internship's job responsibilities, hours per week and non-pay status.
