The Japan-U.S. Community Education and Exchange (JUCEE) Organization

JUCEE has recently started facilitating visits to nonprofit organizations and NGOs throughout Japan, in order to offer students a firsthand opportunity to experience the efforts of grassroots organizations. This NPO Tour provides a direct insight into Japanese grassroots efforts, analyzing issues of common concern such as environment, human rights, public policy and community development. The program allows students to learn about the current efforts of Japan to strengthen their social, political, and economic conditions, as well as educating the students on ways to improve their own communities. The tour offers flexible options to fit the specific aims of your East Asian Studies Program, and/or general study abroad programs to Japan that are accompanied by language translation, materials, and other accommodations. This tour may be added to existing Japanese exchanges and programs at your University. Please view the attached sheet for additional information and details on this tour.

Students of the New York University East Asian Studies Program will gain a valuable experience through the JUCEE NPO Tour. Join us in this educational opportunity! For additional information or questions, please contact Sarajean Rossito (JUCEE Tokyo, Executive Director) at: sarajean@jucee.org
