Luo Gang is a Senior Global Visiting Scholor from East China Normal University in Shanghai, supported by the Office of Vice Provost for Global and Multicultural Education. Luo Gang received his Bachelor of Arts from the Teacher's College of Gan Nan, where he subsequently worked as Assistant Professor in the Department of Chinese Literature from 1989 to 1992. He then went on to study at the East China Normal University, where he received his M.A. and Ph.D.. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chinese Literature at the East China Normal University. His honors include the 2003 Prize of Tangtao Literature Studies issued by the Museum of Modern Chiense Literature, the 2004 Prize of Contemporary Literature Review issued by the Contemporary Literature Review, and the 2005 Fellowship of Excellent Teacher by Shanghai Education Development Foundation.
