THE NYU CANTOR FILM CENTER | 36 E. 8TH STREET, NEW YORK, NY

Attention all Orphan Film Symposium participants from New York State!

We would like to encourage those in New York State participating in the Orphan Film Symposium to apply for THE MEDIA ARTS TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FUND, administered by THE EXPERIMENTAL TELEVISION CENTER and supported by THE NEW YORK STATE COUNCIL OF THE ARTS. THE MEDIA ARTS TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FUND can help staff of media arts organization offset costs of symposium registration fees and travel expenses. Please note that this grant can not be applied to out-of-state travel.

The fund is designed to assist nonprofit media arts programs in the State, strengthen organizational capacity, and address systemic issues within institutions and within the field. Through direct assistance the program supports organizational development and the building of critical skills to insure the vitality and longevity of the field, through the hiring of consultants or other professionals, staff attendance at professional conferences and meetings, and networking opportunities around the State.

THE EXPERIMENTAL TELEVISION CENTER asks that all interested parties send in their applications as soon as possible, while no applications can be accepted after March 14th.

For application and more detailed information on the fund and the work of THE EXPERIMENTAL TELEVISION CENTER, please see the Grants page on the website of THE EXPERIMENTAL TELEVISION CENTER at http://experimentaltvcenter.org/

New York University is most grateful to THE EXPERIMENTAL TELEVISION CENTER for their interest in the Orphan Film Symposium.
