Thanks to the Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program (Arthur O. Eve HEOP) and the Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (C-STEP), I am a student at New York University’s College of Arts and Science. Arthur O. Eve HEOP and C-STEP have provided the financial and academic support I need to attend NYU and excel there.
When I was in high school, I never thought that I would be able to attend a private university. But once I heard about Arthur O. Eve HEOP, I knew I had the chance to start achieving my goals. This program has provided me with grants to help pay for my college education. Arthur O. Eve HEOP also has provided me with financial support to buy books and other materials I need to prepare myself for classes.
Arthur O. Eve HEOP supports me academically. Thanks to the seven-week summer program, I was able to get a feel for what college was really like. It was much easier for me to deal with the transition from high school to college once classes started during the fall. The summer program gave me a head start on what to expect for the fall semester so I could do well.
Arthur O. Eve HEOP is helping me achieve my goals in life. This program is giving me the opportunity to earn a higher education that will help me become successful.
