Honors & Achievements

Arthur O. Eve HEOP students have distinguished themselves in the university community through their hard work in our program. Many of our graduates have also gone on to forge impressive careers. Below are some highlights of Arthur O. Eve HEOP student achievements.

Graduation Honors

Academic Honors

Sixty-two students interned at various sites, including: WABC, New York Times (Film), JP Morgan Chase, Lehman Brothers, New York University Medical Center, Beth Israel Hospital, New York Presbyterian Hospital, St. John’s Hospital, NYPD Police Cadets, GE Capital, Allied Capital and Estee Marketing Group.

Twenty-eight students tutored for America Reads.

Many students found employment in their fields of study: one is a Junior Accountant at Dislenia and Dislenia, one is an Auditor for Lehman Brothers, one is a Tax Consultant at JP Morgan Chase, three are working in New York City schools as student teachers and one student taught playwriting at Brooklyn College during her freshman year.

Many students conducted research at various organizations such as: Davidson College, New York University, Westchester Community College, Center for Research and Cultural Development, Eastside Comprehensive Medical Center and The World Health Organization.

Twenty-one students studied abroad in England, Ghana, Spain, France and Italy.

Seventy-nine students interned at various sites, including: JP Morgan Chase, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, NYU Medical Center, Legal Aide Society, Hospital for Joint Disease, Hospital for Special Surgery, Sullivan & Cromwell, Albert Einstein School of Medicine, Cornell University Weill Medical College, News Channel 4, Lifetime TV and the New York State Assembly.

Twenty-two students tutored for America Reads.

Many students found employment in their fields of study: one is an Analyst at Merrill Lynch and four are working in New York City schools as student teachers.

Many students conducted research at various organizations such as: Mount Sinai Medical Center , New York University, Montefiore Hospital, New York Medical College and Cornell Hospital.

Students studied abroad in Italy, Havana, London and Dublin.
