The Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program (Arthur O. Eve HEOP)

Since our establishment in 1968, we have been helping NYU meet its commitment to a diverse student body. Arthur O. Eve HEOP provides a means for traditionally underserved, low-income students to obtain admission as well as academic and financial support at NYU.

Arthur O. Eve HEOP students begin by completing a required six-week introductory non-credit academic program during the summer prior to their freshman year. Each student’s summer course schedule is determined by his or her individual academic needs. The summer program exposes students to the courses and activities they will encounter during their first year at NYU and ensures smooth entry into university life.
