NYU Speaking Freely is the only place at NYU where free, non-credit language courses are offered to all matriculated NYU students, staff and faculty. The 90-minute classes meet once a week for ten weeks at various locations on campus. No books are required! Classes are offered in 17 languages: Arabic, Cantonese, Czech, French, German, Greek (Modern), Hebrew, Hindi, Irish, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Swahili.
