International Student Explorientation

Congratulations on your admission, and welcome to NYU! The staff at the Office for International Students and Scholars (OISS), along with several student Orientation Leaders, look forward to helping you explore the many resources of NYU.

The Office for International Students and Scholars offers International Student Explorientation, a combination of practical, academic, cultural, and social activities to help you settle in to life at NYU. Additional tours and activities will be offered throughout the month. Fall 2009 international student orientation will take place on Friday, September 4th. Please check back for complete schedule.

All international students, whether new to the U.S. or transferring to NYU from another institution, should attend orientation. Family members are welcome at all orientation events.

Friendly Fridays!

The OISS would like to help you see some of the sights in New York City. Friendly Fridays is a series of social programs that take place on the last two Fridays of the month of August (beginning August 20). The programs will introduce you to two of the best events New York City has to offer! All events require advance payment and sign-up at the OISS. Sign-up begins Monday, August 3.
