Special Registration

Special Registration in NSEERS (National Security Entry-Exit Registration System) is required for citizens from certain countries.

Individuals subject to NSEERS are required to use only designated ports of departure when leaving the U.S., and must check in with an immigration officer at the airport on the day of departure.

See the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Web site for information on NSEERS. For a complete listing of designated airports and check-out terminals, see the Walkaway Materials.

If you are traveling from JFK International Airport in New York, registrants should enter Terminal Four, follow signs for Airline Baggage Services and go to room 161/011. For travel from Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey, registrants should go to the International Arrivals Hall in Terminal B and proceed through the security checkpoint. After passing through the checkpoint, follow signs to the INS INSPASS office (first door on the left). Make sure to leave extra time for your departure.
