The student health insurance plan doesn't include dental care except in specific situations involving accidents that result in injury to the jaw, mouth, and teeth. For routine cleaning and fillings, many NYU students use the NYU Dental Clinic,which is run by NYU's College of Dentistry. Services are provided at a ten percent discount for NYU students.
