Small Business Assistance Forum
On March 30, 2009, NYU Councilmember Gerson, and the Greenwich-Village Chelsea Chamber of Commerce hosted a Small Business Assistance Forum at NYU's Kimmel Center for University Life.
Over 190 small business owners packed room 914 of NYU's Kimmel Center for University Life to attend the event. Both during the event and after, we received an overwhelmingly positive response about the forum. In order to continue to provide local business owners with valuable resources, we have made the forum speakers' presentations available online, including City Council Speaker Christine Quinn's State of the City Address, which outlines her proposals for strengthening the local economy through supporting New York City's small businesses.
