The Policy Brief is a weekly newsletter issued by the Office of Government & Community Affairs with the aim of keeping readers up to speed with the latest developments in higher education policy in the Nation’s Capitol, with a focus on the Congress. The Brief includes a summary of important events and an overview of the major issues consuming the Hill, stories offering a more in-depth look at the week’s higher education news, and summaries of other relevant news from around the country. It also includes an “NYU in the News” section tracks faculty and administrators testifying before Congressional committees, and keeps readers informedinformed when NYU or its faculty appear in radio/television/print news.
