Welcome to the Office of Government and Community Affairs (O.G.C.A.) at New York University. O.G.C.A. serves as the University's liaison to federal, state and city government officials as well as a wide variety of community groups.

The office coordinates the University's legislative agenda and, working directly with elected officials and with statewide and national organizations, advocates on behalf of students, faculty, researchers, and administrators. The office also coordinates a number of events and programs open to the members of the NYU community as well as local residents, which you can learn about on this site.
