Katie Casey, Vice President for Human Resources, oversees the following offices: Benefits, Employment, Learning and Development, Employee Relations, Project Management, Compensation, and Records and Information Services.

As Vice President for Human Resources, Ms. Casey leads a service-oriented team structured to provide the policies and programs that faculty, administrators and staff need to do their work as effectively as possible. Additionally, she works closely with the University Leadership Team, the Faculty and Administrative Councils, and the Human Resources Officers to develop and implement a wide range of progressive initiatives that support the University’s mission.

Ms. Casey served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources with The American Stock Exchange for five years prior to her arrival at NYU in 2006. She received her bachelor’s degree in Communications from Northwestern University.
