In October celebrate Gay Pride Month with the NYU community. Learn about pioneers of the Gay Rights movement such as Del Martin, Phyllis Lyon, and Marlon Riggs; the struggles faced by their peers during McCarthyism; and the child custody fights of lesbian mothers. And don’t forget to watch Marlon Riggs' talked about documentary Tongues Untied. We also share the nation’s political campaign mood with a series of films and documentaries that clarify the electoral process, expose past presidents, and evoke historic campaign ads.
