Conference Explores How Darwin Broke Barriers Between Science and Religion
David Kohn, a research associate at the American Museum of Natural History Library, left, and Rutgers University professor George Levine, right, were among the speakers at “Darwin and the Boundaries of Science,” an April conference hosted by the Gallatin School of Individualized Study. Held in the Jerry H. Labowitz Theatre for the Performing Arts, the event examined how Charles Darwin broke previously existing barriers between science and religion, speculation and theory, and the past and the present.
