Collage of Events Welcomes the Class of 2012 to NYC and NYU

From Move-In Day to finding the best local cup of coffee to touring the U.N., new students quickly became New Yorkers thanks to the numerous programs and events designed to acclimate them to the city. Kicking off with “The Reality Show: NYU” and the fifth annual Presidential Welcome (featuring Reno 911! star and former Tisch student Michael Ian Black) in the WaMu Theatre at Madison Square Garden, new students experienced a whirlwind week of learning about the University and the streets and shops that will be part of their backyard.
