Men’s Cross Country Team Wins NCAA Division III Championship
    The New York University men’s cross country team won its first-ever NCAA Division III National Championship, besting a crowded field at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN, on Saturday, Nov. 17. Running in blustery winter conditions over the 8,000-meter course, the Violets had five finishers among the top 53, including senior Hany Abdallah, who took ninth place.
New Collaborative Master’s Program Offered in Oral Biology

Mary Button’s ‘Hymnbook Project’ Exhibited at Tisch
An exhibition by Mary Button, the 2006 Daniel Rosenberg Fellowship winner in the Department of Photography & Imaging at the Tisch School of the Arts, is on view through Jan. 5. Entitled The Hymnbook Project, the exhibition features works that explore the difficult relationship between faith and history in the American South.
